EXCITING NEWS
I'm now geared up to start running weekly classes and one and two-day workshops in 2023.
My new home in Paynesville, Victoria, will provide the perfect venue for regular classes - and with B&B accommodation for up to eight guests, weekend workshops will provide a great, artistic and convivial getaway for budding mosaic artists.
Fin Ross
One-day picassiette (cut crockery) Christmas decoration, bird or heart
Saturday, November 30, 2024
9.30am - 4pm
7 Windermere Terrace, Paynesville
Join Fin in her comfortable, air-conditioned studio-with-a-view and learn some basic mosaic techniques to create a Christmas angel, bells or star - or a bird or heart.
What you will learn
How to cut and shape crockery.
What substrates can be used for mosaics.
What adhesives to use – and how.
How to grout your item. Please note however, that grouting cannot be completed at the worshop as it will take at least 24 hours for your glue to cure.
What you will achieve:
At the completion of the workshop, you will take home an item, complete with hanger, to adorn your home.
What to do and bring:
The workshop cost includes all tools and materials, including a wide range of crockery, although you're wlecome to bring your own plate to include in your design.
Don’t wear your best clothes – make sure you’re comfortable.
Please bring your own lunch (microwave available if needed). Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
COST
$95.00
Please note that workshop will be limited to eight people, so get in early. If you can't make it to this workshop, stay tuned as another will be advertised soon.
NB: When booking, please include your phone number in the 'Add a note box' of your shopping cart, as I usually confirm bookings or advise of any changes via text message.
